Corgnelius the Corgi as Slurms McKenzie from Futurama. Whimmy wham wham wozzle! [via]

Halloween is coming this week. We’ve already dispensed copious advice about inexpensive Halloween costumes to help you prepare, but are your pets also ready? Probably not, since they can’t read calendars.

Thankfully, we’ve compiled a gallery of 36 adorable pets who are ready for Halloween. It was a task impossible to refuse because animals in costumes are just so cute. And be sure to check back later for another 36 pets in Halloween costumes. Perhaps I’ll do one of these galleries every day for the rest of my life. Falling down the rabbithole of cute animal pictures sounds like a welcome addiction. Ooo, rabbits! I haven’t googled pictures of rabbits yet…

This Halloween Costume Of Marty McFly In His DeLorean Is Heavy

0
0

The adorable chap in the Marty McFly Halloween costume and homemade DeLorean push car above is named Cooper. For his first Halloween, him mom Cory converted a Step2 push car into a Delorean. Cooper’s dad, Jeremy, provided the EL wire to give it glowing accents. Cory explains:

It all started with a red puffy vest Cooper already had and a side comment from my husband about Marty McFly in late September. I’ve always loved Back to the Future, and love cars since I was little and grew up going to car shows with my Dad; what better way to tote my 1yr old son around on Halloween than in a transformed $25 Step2 push car I bought off of the kidsale alias at work? So, I spent a few weekends and nights in October recreating the iconic DeLorean with cardboard, tape, paint, and a little help with some EL lighting from my husband, Jeremy. The perfect costume for Cooper’s first Halloween! [Goines]

When this thing gets up to 8.8 mph, you’re going to see some serious sh-t. (Because one-year-olds don’t have the greatest bowel control.)

More pictures of Cooper’s awesome Marty McFly and DeLorean Halloween costume are below. All pictures are courtesy of Goines via Fashionably Geek.

The Adorable Wampug Returns As The Banthapug

0

So majestic.

Do you remember the adorable Wampug (a pug as a Wampa) from last year? Dr. Kristen Andrews, a “veterinarian by day and a Star Wars Geek by night”, makes a costume for her pug Chubbs every year. This year Chubbs is decked out in another adorable Star Wars themed costume, Banthapug. Check out the .gifs and video below of Chubbs in her Bantha costume, complete with a Tusken Raider to guide her through the Tatooine desert.

Careful. They’re easily frightened away. On the upside, they may return in larger numbers.

Single file only please.

This makes me so happy.

Here Are 40 Animals Who Are More Ready For Thanksgiving Than You Are

0

Don’t look now, but Thanksgiving is coming up next week, whether or not we’re ready for the forced conversation with relatives who keep wanting to know if we got those paranoid email forwards they sent us. Let’s put that awkwardness out of our minds with the help of one of Thanksgiving’s greatest joys: cats and dogs stuffed into Thanksgiving-themed costumes. These animals are almost as ready to give thanks as is Brutus the bear in the picture above (which is a real photo, by the way).

Continue to the next page to view 40 cats and dogs graciously not ripping these costumes to shreds before the photos could be taken. Truly we have much to be thankful for this year.

Jurassic Prank: Animatronic T-Rex Dinosaur On The Loose In Ohio

0
0

Roman Atwood and Dennis Roady of Sketch Empire pulled some dinosaur-based shenanigans in Columbus, Ohio. They call the video below “Jurassic Prank”. (Clever girl.) Using an animatronic T-Rex dinosaur costume (similar to this and this), they surprised Columbus residents and filmed the results for our amusement.

The dinosaur, named Kojo, was built by KHA Entertainment in New York City. In other news, today I learned it’s possible to rent an animatronic T-Rex dinosaur costume. It’s taking all my willpower not to steal all the copper pipes from my neighbor’s house and sell them for scrap. Also, it would be cool to rent a dinosaur with the money I already have. The copper pipe thing had nothing to do with the dinosaur rental thing, I just want my neighbors to know who runs this block.

Check out the video below to see this “Jurassic Prank”. We also found videos of Kojo livin’ it up in da club and visiting this year’s New York Comic-Con.

We’re counting down to the last Breaking Bad episodes, which start this Sunday and end when you see us posting a montage of footage set to “End Of The Road” by Boyz II Men. To gear up for this Sunday, we’ve put together a collection of great Breaking Bad costumes. They may not live up to the splendor of Bryan Cranston cosplaying as himself with an ultra-realistic Walter White mask, but they’re still welcome in our territory any time.
